Huh? NBC News is HD... all studio and newsroom is HD. Not sure about MSNBC (its HD internally but I'm not sure whether it is broadcast in HD) though.

If MSNBC was in HD, we here in the States would know. And I gotta agree with you, Kevin - Monday's NN wasn't exactly on par with the camera shots - AWKWARD! - although it was presented with limited commercials.

Awkward is definitely how I would describe it... they had cameras in the way on multiple occasions. Williams looked very uncomfortable too.

Perhaps it's just me but it made no sense to be in the newsroom for the first half of the bulletin only then to move back to the studio for the remainder of it. They could have had the "chat" about Iran at the usual desk (as they always do).

Maybe they were experimenting? Regardless it was definitely a failed exercise and looked very amateurish for a major news organisation like NBC.

Tom Brokaw is a brave man standing on the roof of a tall building in NYC just hours after what had taken place. There is no way I would have done that.
