I would be quite happy to put up with the cross promotion if one of our networks produced bulletins as good as NBC Nightly News.
Firetorch..well it depends on what the common view or opinion is on the matter, he will go against the crowd

Clips from the Presidential Address (using the NBC Breaking News or Special Report opener). This happened on the same day that the US Airways plane crash landed in to the Hudson River in New York city, so they had a live cross at the end of Bush's speech... it didn't all go smoothly however - the reporter couldn't hear Brian so he didn't know he was on air

Interesting that when the American networks break away for these news 'special reports' they don't go back to their programming from the point where they broke away. Americans are probably used to it, but if I were watching Seven and they had breaking news at 7pm and then at 7.10pm said "we now return you to Home and Away already in progress" that'd really shit me!!

I liked the old one better... "More Americans watch NBC News than any other news organisation in the world"

ABC US used to do that in the late 90's too if I recall. I think they just want to promote they are steady in the 1st position again after fighting with ABC for a little while.

Apologies about the audio quality and the "popping" sound that can be heard at times. That was a WESH TX issue and nothing to do with me

2. LOL at Can-bra
3. "And the guy from Cinderella Man..."
4. I'm an Aussie and I haven't even tried croc!
5. "Vegemite. Very delicious." Hoda: "Mmmmhmph. OK."
Reminds me of that one joke where the American had believed that we have a "kangaroo licence" to ride kangaroos on roads legally.
And, yes, I did vote against the Alcopops tax, for Armidale's sake :P

Another camera has come in to view (in front) on more than one occasion so far
Supposedly this was part of a launch of their new joint polling system with the Wall Street Journal
Edit: The normal set is fine - he's moved back in there now. I have no idea why they needed to be in the newsroom for the first block

Huh? NBC News is HD... all studio and newsroom is HD. Not sure about MSNBC (its HD internally but I'm not sure whether it is broadcast in HD) though.
