well, i received this e-mail today:



the only issue is, that if I do apply and they discover that I post videos from tv, there is the chance my account will be closed.


Should I go for it or not?

I've faced a similar problem too, and I'm unsure as well. I myself probably won't. It's a hard decision, as it could either result in good or bad. If YT finds out, then the channel will almost certainly be removed.

YouTube has been "bothering" me about becoming a partner for ages. If your account consists of TV stuff then it's not worth applying because it's a manual approval process and they will most likely see your videos all contain copyrighted material and reject your application - and possibly delete some videos (although I doubt that would happen).

Not worth the risk if you ask me.
