It's a shame we can't have Mark here because weather is his thing :)

My ideal day when it comes weather, would be probably 10 degrees (I love the cold) with a full set of storms - thunder, lightning, rain, hail...bring on the whole lot, I love it :) We haven't had a decent storm in Perth for many years so I'm hoping when winter comes around that we get some decent storms (not to mention some decent rainfall).

I was in Paris a few years ago and it was -5 degrees when I got off the plane at 8am in the morning. It was fantastic! I wish we had that kind of weather here :)
We had a 42 degree day in Perth yesterday and it was crap. I can't stand the hot weather. It was only 25 degrees today which is great compared to yesterday. We have some strange weather here for sure.

So anyway, I'm curious to know how you all are. When it comes to the weather, are you a hot or cold person? Do you love when it gets to 40 degrees or do you prefer 15 degree days with a nice cold wind?

It's been raining here for 2 days straight :D. Loving it.
Nothing I say should be taken seriously. Unless it ends with an exclamation mark.

...And when it rains, it pours. Went for a drive to see how bad the flooding was, and it's extremely bad. Had to do a few U-turns since I was affraid I wouldn't be able to cross the water. Hell, even the 6 lanes on the Main Road are mostly flooded, leaving only 2 lanes (each opposite ways) open. By the looks of things, a lot of business have been flooded.

Of course, I didn't bring my camera because I'm an idiot. Would make some fantastic photos though. I'm sure they'll be on the news here tomorrow sometime anyway.

Now I must go outside, and keep using the broom to push the water away from our back door :P.

Here's a photo of my dad standing on the road :P. Other one is just down the road from where I live. Both of my photos have been put up on news.com.au as well :D.

People are saying the El-Nino effect will leave Australia soon. What do you think of it? I am glad we might brake the drought soon. Tamworth is on Level 3 Water Restrictions, but there are other places that are worse than Level 3, i feel sorry for them.

wtf! Today is shit and the next 3 days are gonna be worse!

This is not helped by the fact that both our split system and ducted air cons both blew up after the power surge went through my house last weekend. One of them is being fixed on Saturday morning (hopefully), but it's been hot all week and having no air con sucks!

I concur, that weather is too hot for my liking. The weather was more than hot enough for me in Canberra, one day it reached 40-thankfully I was in airconditioned at that point in time. Although the rooms we were all staying in were very stuffy.

The weather is so much nicer in Tassie, 23-24 during the day and 14 or something overnight. Absolutely blissful compared to 40.

So typical that it rains when I go to Queensland :P I'm at Hamilton Island at the moment and expected a nice, warm holiday but instead its raining and 90% humidity. I'm used to the Perth weather how it gets hot quick, and gets cool quick, but here, it's been humid for over a week and there's no end currently in sight  The bureau have predicted spontaneous thunderstorms to form anywhere because the air is so moist
