How sucky.... there is no more Club[v] as from today!
It's been replaced with [v]2 which won't specifically play club music!

Aww poor diddums.
They didn't really play that much club music anyway. Still, now it's like both the Channel V's are exactly the same, except the songs are on at a different time.
Nothing I say should be taken seriously. Unless it ends with an exclamation mark.

Definitely Al Jazeera English.
Mind you, these are rather niche ideas, but personally speaking I'd love:
- a non-mainstream 24h music channel. There's almost literally nothing which appeals to me on any of the music channels we currently have (apart from having a laugh at the so bad they're good reality TV shows). Something like a 24h rage channel would be nice
- I miss watching AFL during the night (like when FOX Footy existed) so maybe a FOX Sports channel that repeats major sports between midnight and 6am.
- I'd also be really chuffed with a cultish channel, something a bit like the old arena. A mish-mash of black comedy, edgy drama, film noir, b-movies (particularly bad Asian and American action and martial-arts from the 70s, 80s and 90s, plus blaxploitation and monster movies), maybe a bit of sci-fi, and thought-provoking documentaries. Yeah, something that would always surprise and entertain when you turn it on (ooh! maybe a bit of porn too
in an ironic, post-modern context of course!) Oh, and old ECW wrestling, and musicals from the fifties and sixties, and movies like A Clockwork Orange, and those old Clive James documentaries where he'd hilariously dis the hell out of whichever city he found himself in, and factual programmes like LAPD Life on the Beat (essentially a Cops rip-off) and maybe some old kids shows like Round the Twist. ZOMG! Seriously, I'd absolutely love, LOVE I tell you!, something like that.
Truthfully, I'd go bonkers for something like that. Not that that will ever happen... *sigh*
/I have a bad feeling this has all become terribly long-winded/
(I just want you to know it's taking all my willpower not to do a mock schedule for the weirdo channel)

What was Tech Tv?
It was a technology type channel that had shows directly related to computer's, gaming, gadgets, new technology, etc. A lot of the shows that were carried on TechTV are now aired on The Lifestyle Channel, such as Call For Help. It was much better as a 24 hour channel though.
It was available on FOXTEL when they first launched their digital platform back in 2004. It only lasted about 6 or so months and was then replaced by the Crime and Investigation Channel (CI).
I believe it wasn't within FOXTEL's control as the company that owned TechTV, G4, decided to pull the international feed. The channel is still available domestically throughout the US and Canada though.

So basically bugger all worth watching?
Most of the time, yes. IMO, add the free-to-airs to the mix and it's a worthy addition, for movies, music and nudity.
