Usually I have enjoyed listening to these stirrers, but recently I have gone right off Derryn Hinch. He is a chronic pessimist, and will never shut up about how bad things are. Today he can't say a good word about the Olympic Games and blatantly yells at his callers who make suggestions and speak up on these issues. After the whole Hookesy/Kennedy sagae, I really don't know why he is on air, apart from being assigned to stirr up controversy, ala therefore ratings.

Are there any ones you simply can't stand?

I enjoyed when Melbourne had Stan Zemanek in the drive timeslot on 3AW. He didn't go all that flash in the ratings, but he was fantastic to listen to.

I wouldn't really call Derryn Hinch a "Shock Jock", but I agree Kyle Sandilands is a complete douchebag. Other radio announcers I can't stand are Neil Mitchell, Alan Jones, John Laws, and in America Dick Masterson is just asking to be assasinated by women all over the country.
