Nine News Perth wasn't the only one to get a graphics update, ACA Perth only stories now have the animations on the supers as before used to be fade-in fade-out.

That was a great interview tonight by Tracey Grimshaw interviewing Matthew Johns.

Footage of Tracey Grimshaw on ACA was featured on the NBC Today show this morning in a report on this whole thing with Gordon Ramsey. Even Julia Gillard was used in the report.

They said Grimshaw was one of "Australia's most popular television presenters". Not too sure about that but I always enjoy seeing Australia get a mention on the news here :)

It's been airing across the UK too. I'm glad the whole thing is over. I was really getting sick of the whole thing. Even TVW news was running grabs of what Tracey had to say on ACA in response to Ramsey. :ermm:

I actually had a bigger problem with that "Tag Team" story they aired on the same night showing footage of three people bashing that teenager. Sick, but then again it's stories that make people angry that wins ratings eh? <_<

One of Australia's most popular TV presenters my butt. I like to see us Aussies get a mention in the news over there, but gawd, Tracy Grimshaw sucks as a television host. She's as bad an Naomi Robson. Just imagine if she were labelled one of our most popular TV presenters!

ACA started abruptly tonight. Tracey wasn't using the auto-cue. The set looks weird - almost like Larry King Live crossed with Nine News Melbourne (yes, very vomit worthy). Of course, tonight is the 40 minute Jackson special.

Came from TCN instead of GTV.
A short notice set up I would guess.

Rumours circulating that Perth's local ACA has been axed

Hmmm...
More WIN cost cutting?
It's not as though it will be any much different going back to the national one seeing as at least three quarters of it comes from there anyway including the host's commentary and links. The only local parts are the actual local stories which have from time to time made their way into the national one.
It will be sad though if it is true.

That seems to be their excuse anyway.

Agreed. Credit to WIN for trying but it was never going to beat TT. Hopefully they make good use of Louise on STW News once this happens.
