Yeah... once!

It was most boring marathon I've ever watched. Most of the packages are the same with the exception of a few local items thrown into each bulletin.

Not sure if it's temporary or full-time, but it's great to see Lisa Millar doing the midday gig. :)

Wow, it's like I've died and went to heaven. But then they realized it wasn't my time yet. So they sent me to a brewery.

All good things must come to an end (except AM).

Incidentally, when Yeltsin died Lisa interviewed Monica Attard who recounted the story of when she was ABC's Moscow correspondent in the early 90s during the coup. Attard was in Red Square, afraid of getting crushed by the hordes of demonstrators. She wrapped her arms around the first large waist: guess who's?

That's right - Boris Yeltsin's!

Wtf has anyone else noticed this as a regular thing or was it a mistake this evening. Just finished watching the Chaser, and I was watching HD ABC and another TV in the house had analogue ABC on, my TV had some woman doing a national ABC update, and the analogue ABC had Alicia Gorey doing a Perth update

You sure the other channel wasn't ABC2?

Nope. Someone just told me that Perth might be using Sydney's HD feed rather than running their own.

AFAIK there is only one ABC HD feed which comes out of Sydney. I think it's time delayed for Perth in the same way that SBS is for WA and SA.

I could be totally wrong though... I have to admit I don't watch a lot of ABC, especially not the HD channel.

ABC HD is national and hence the Sydney feed where as analogue and SD are the WA feed.

i am really appreciating Perth's ABCTV's approach to the nightly news bulletins - Alicia and Russell's professional and credible presentation skills

And while Russell is on leave, the chief (of BoM WA) - Neil Bennett - steps in: a double

Funny, I was about to ask if any of the Perth members watched ABC News - it's an excellent bulletin.

Does anyone here, period, watch ABC News?
