They're dropping like flies from the Liberal frontbench... 7 confirmed as having resigned and at least another 3 unconfirmed.

In light of all that, it's not like the ETS is a good thing

Kevin Rudd running scared having to wheel out the old Workchoices chessnut because the stupid ETS got shot down! I think a few more people might be less inclined to vote for Rudd and his popularist and self serving policy next time around.

The ETS is just a scam to make him look like he cares about the environment where it will achieve swat and everything else is based on popularity and not the greater good.

Well it's nice to see the end of the ETS - for the moment - but I think it will get through eventually - like the GST before it.

The Libs under Abbott have no hope of winning an election for as long as its full of Pro Workchoice Prunes such as Bishop and Minchin - it'll be nice to see the next election when the "Fair Go" pie gets rammed in their faces again :clapping:

The member for the south metropolitan region was elected to the legislative Council in 1993.

We very likely have a hung parliment, the first since the Second World War. It's gonna be a very interesting couple of days ahead. No idea whats gonna happen, but I can assure you that a whole lot of shit is gonna go down.

Eh, forget it. Bad joke.

Gonna be an intresting week, with the Independants possibly deciding on the next government. Certainly an election night no one is going to forget anytime soon.

It's not really a shock that no majority was formed. This election was basically trying to vote for the lesser of two evils plus we saw The Greens pick up some votes.
