I just realised that Craig is the voice behind all of the GWN/PRIME station promos and rating disclaimers. I always thought that was Noel Brunning's voice!

Nice to know there's a bit more sensible discussion via this Forum. And yes, I completely understand your inference to 'Media Spy'. I've had a couple of nasty 'sprays' written about me (and others) of late via that Forum and I can only presume there's a lot of jaded viewers/writers out there who are very quick to criticise (but slow to praise), together with offering advice about what's currently wrong with the product, rather than put forward a sensible solution. Shame really....

Most certainly. AM is a very tight knit community, most of our members are in WA. But we are slowly picking up the people that are booted from MediaSpy...I was banned for biting back at a rude post by a moderator... Over there, in the Nine News thread, they are constantly whinging about the current look of the product, and implying that there needs to be a relaunch etc etc... however, the "effort" that they put into what it should look like just makes me, a member of the industry, annoyed (is the subtle word..)

Smacca, who began this thread, is from WA and I have high praise for his professionalism in this forum and via his WA Television site on the web. Something that's obviously rubbed off here on AM with the likes of yourself.
As for the Nine News thread, well, from what I've read, there's a history there and a culture that's not about to change anytime soon.

I think that is a very polite way of putting it . Smac's a good bloke, with his help I'm starting up an Internet Television Channel in November (he just doesnt know it yet!)

Noel hasn't voiced in years. It'd be good to get him back as the local voice or even Cliff Reeve or Ashley Dillon.

The AFR reported a couple of months ago that head honchos at Prime were considering bulletins in NSW, Victoria and the ACT. Nothing's been heard since.

Thanks, it was my first go at copying the tapes to a disc. I'm quite proud of myself actually, for that and the fact I'm in one of these two. You will never guess which one though!

Yes, that's me!

The McCafe bit was the last news story of the bulletin, not that that makes any difference.

I've been on Sunrise and other Seven crap in the background a few times (and I was featured in stock footage used on all 4 networks, however you could only see my back). Been on another couple of weird places too, shame I never recorded any.

Right, I don't get this. Its 2010, but our local news is still in 4:3. You would think that by now, and that it's one of the only things that NEN makes, it would be in Widescreen by now.
