New graphics on CNN US.
With the expected relaunch of CNNI I would not be surprised of CNN copied the BBC and had the same look for their domestic and international channels.

I believe they had started rolling out these new graphics earlier on... if you've watched the relays of US CNN content (i.e. Anderson Cooper & Larry King), you'd probably remember these are the graphics they used instead of the other/older ones.

Yes, CNN's US Domestic channel has been using this look for a while now. It's not bad, although I wished CNNI had put the CNN logo above the "LIVE" animating world graphic.

Scrap that, CNN US has their LIVE bug above the logo too. Their flat world map in the black box looks better though IMO.

CNN cut, to my dismay, Back Story right in the middle of the show to go live to 10 Downing St yesterday.
... surely they could have at least canceled the airing (as it was going to be played again later in the day), made that an extended version of CNN Today or something than very uncleanly cutting straight in the middle of the show?
It wasn't like it was breaking or anything, it was just Merkel & Brown talking about nothing in particular, repeating the same...

Huge changes have occurred at CNNI. All World News bulletin, both editions of CNN Today (Hong Kong and London) and World News Asia are now simply - World Report.
the classy minimalist look of the network is gone to be replaced well with this
